About Us
The Healing Hum began offering small-group based Sound Therapy Practitioner trainings Level 1 & 2 since 2018. Unlike other schools of similar healing arts, we are best known for our multidisciplinary approach to Himalayan Singing Bowls.
Combining ancient wisdom with modern science and nervous system education, the trainings move the practitioner beyond the work and use sound and bowls. Through a journey together, learn to understand the body deeply and nurture the art of holding space, facilitating therapeutic safety, neutral listening and compassionate relating.
The trainings draw inspiration from Yogic Principles, Mindfulness & MBSR techniques, Craniosacral Therapy and Non-Violent Communication (NVC) principles. This is designed to equip you with the skills & knowledge to confidently work with people using singing bowls as the medium and sound therapy has a powerful form of treatment. While learning to facilitate an experience for others, develop the skills to quieten your own mind, practice deep listening and experience a deeper rhythm of life.
Together, we uplift each other’s vibration to create a community that is open, loving, free of prejudice and criticism.

“The training with Kathy has been exceptional in terms of depth and breadth. The approach was structured and fluid. I particularly enjoyed the trauma-aware perspective that was provided.”
